The Victim’s Tragic Fate
The incident occurred when 21-year-old Lee Zi Rou was driving her Perodua Bezza to work. The falling container caused significant damage to several vehicles, including a Honda Jazz driven by Tan Chou Theng, 25, who sustained serious injuries.
How the Trailer Lost Control
At around 9:30 AM, five cars and a lorry had stopped at the traffic light on Jalan Kebun Sirih. The trailer, coming from Jalan Bukit Tengah, suddenly turned left. It lost control, causing the container to fall and crush two cars. The collision pushed these vehicles into three other cars and a lorry.
